Marineware Advanced Spray Courses
Posted on: 12/12/2019, 12:05
Marineware held their 2019 Advanced Spray Courses last week at Carlisle Fluid Technologies, DeVilbiss as they are more commonly known.
Our spray courses are designed for seasoned painters that have completed our normal spray course. We discuss topics such as Advance metallic spray techniques, metallic repairs, quick systems, new products, advanced atomization theory and we also introduced new equipment.
As with all metallic paints some are harder than others. In our spray course we focus on the hard ones. The Marineware team were joined by Richard Jennings from AkzoNobel, where he helped complete seamless repairs on large panels. He learnt gun control methods and played with different techniques to complete the repair on the large panels.
Our team got a chance to try out the new DV1 Spray Gun from DeVilbiss, along with the Double Diaphragm pump connected to the Ransflex Electrostatic gun. There was definitely some positive feedback from both the Marineware team and the customers attending the spray course.
We also introduced the Quick Build Primer and HDT Clear Coat and Coloured HDT.
We would like to thank DeVilbiss, AkzoNobel, our fantastic Technical Sales Team and our customers who made the course possible!
