Epifanes Training Day

Marineware Ltd recently teamed up with Epifanes and Ebbtide Marine to run a training day for Force Four, one of our chandlery customers. The guys spent the day going through the extensive range of paints and varnishes supplied by Epifanes, and the features and benefits of each product.

The day was such a success, and the feedback from Force Four so positive, that we have decided to offer this type of training more regularly. If you think that an Epifanes training day might benefit you or your staff, please contact our Customer Services Team or your Sales Representative.

Marineware and Epifanes would like to say a big thank you to Ebbtide Marine in Hyth for letting us use their offices for this course.

New Products for 2014

2014 is getting off to an exciting start for the Marineware Team as they introduce a host of new products and a fantastic new paint mixing facility.

From Nautix, Marineware are now able to offer 'Performer' and 'Night Light'. Performer is a self polishing, copper based antifoul that can be applied in one coat. Night Light is a high performance luminescent spray varnish, which appears clear in daylight but will glow in the dark!

From Awlgrip Awlwood MA, an innovative new exterior coating system comprising a primer and clear finish.

Akzo Nobel, through Marineware, now offer a complete range of interior coatings that cover all bases - water, polyester and solvent.

For some time now Marineware have topped off their diverse and high performance product range with a mixing facility for Awlgrip, Akzo Nobel Interior Finishes and Durepox coatings and now, thanks to a new mixing machine from Epifanes, Marineware are able to mix yacht enamels and mono urethane to over 2000 colours!

Tom completes NACE Course Level 2!

Marineware are very proud to say that Tom Barrow, one of our Technical Sales Team, has recently passed his second NACE course - a qualification that recognises Tom's knowledge of surface preparation and coatings. The second stage of this course is more challenging, so well done Tom!

London Boat Show

Marineware Ltd recently exhibited on the Awlgrip and International Yacht Paints stand at the London Boat Show. Although the attendance figures show a slight dip in visitors this year, the amount of enquiries we received show that our products are still very popular throughout the Marine Industry.

Composites Exhibition

The Marineware Team have just returned from exhibiting at the Composites Engineering Show at the NEC in Birmingham. This is the second time that Marineware has exhibited at the show and once again the Team felt that it was total success plus an invaluable insight into the application of composite technologies in industries other than the Marine and Automotive, with which Marineware are already well acquainted.

Simon Crawford of Marineware said 'We had high expectations of the Composites Exhibition this year after the fantastic experience we had in 2012. We were not disappointed - the amount of enquiries we received was enormous, especially for a two day show. This Show gives us the opportunity to prove our knowledge and product quality in a wider range of industries.'

Marineware look forward to exhibiting again next year.
