Nace Qualification for Technical Team

Marineware Ltd would like to congratulate Tom Barrow, one of our Technical Sales Team, on successfully completing his Nace course.

The Nace course is an in-depth look into the preparation of metal substrates to ensure a perfect finish that lasts for the whole of its life expectancy. This qualification means that Marineware can give their customers the best possible technical advice, and help them to better understand how to get the most out of our products .

The Nace qualification also means that we can go further down the route to exploring the possible reasons behind any failures, although the final arbitration and decision will always be taken by the manufacturer themselves or a qualified paint surveyor.

Tom said “I found the five day course very informative and interesting; the exam on the sixth day was certainly challenging and covered a wide knowledge base. I look forward to putting what I have learnt into practice and continuing Marinewares reputation for excellent technical support.”

Bravo Francois!

A Busy Month for Marineware

The last month has been a busy one for Marineware, with the Composites Engineering Show and METS Trade Show almost back to back.

It was our first time exhibiting at the Composites Engineering Show and we were pleasantly surprised with both the amount of visitors, and the amount of enquiries we received on the stand. It was a super opportunity for us to make our name known outside of the Marine Industry, and we look forward to exhibiting again in 2013 when the Show expands into the biggest hall of NEC.

After a swift pack-up of the Composites Engineering stand, our Technical Sales Team were off to Amsterdam for the METS Trade Show. METS is always an important date in the calendar, as we get to meet up with our Suppliers and introduce them to some of our customers. This year

Marineware Ltd were awarded were awarded the SABA Distributor of the Year Award, it is the fourth time we have won this award, and we are delighted that SABA are pleased with our continued work on their behalf.

Jolly Good Show

The 2012 PSP Southampton Boat show was a busy one for Marineware. Official show reports have suggested the attendance figures for this year's show to be slightly lower than last year's, however the number of enquiries coming into the Marineware stand would make you believe otherwise.

In particular, our Technical Sales Team spent a great deal of time advising customers on the best use of Epifanes Products - a quality brand with some fantastic products. Simon Crawford said 'We generally had an excellent show. I was impressed with the amount of interest in Epifanes, Nautix and Saba as Awlgrip, SP and Antal have always represented the high proportion of enquiries. It is my belief that this was one of the best shows we have had in terms of traffic on the stand.'

Marineware would like to take this opportunity to thank everyone who came along to the stand throughout the show.

Marineware Ltd celebrates 25 years.

From early beginnings in a container on the outskirts of Southampton, to offices and warehouses in the heart of the city, this year Southampton based Distributor Marineware are pleased to celebrate 25 years of trading.
