Antal Self Tailing Winch is available in two finishes; Hard Black Aluminium and Chrome. The Aluminium finish is a hard black anodized, Teflon coated drum which is scratch proof and hard wearing. The Chrome finish drum, ST disks and ST arm are completely chrome plated. All chrome parts are highly polished, thickly nickel plated and finally finished in chrome.
The winch has a simple opening, just unscrew the upper ring for an immediate dismantle for easy cleaning and maintenance. The new self-tailing XT system has a fixed upper disk with built in ST Arm and self-regulating lower disk on springs. The new self-tailing feature adapts to a wide range of rope diameters, if overloading occurs it automatically releases the line to avoid excess force on the ST arm. The vertical knurling on the drum offers maximum horizontal friction allowing the rope to ‘slide’ upwards.
