Compression molding is one of the most common methods of forming thermosetting materials. Compression molding is simply the squeezing of a material into a desired shape by application of light pressure to the material in a mold.

Poly-Bond B55 is a white, low-density polyesterbased compound designed to fill the space within fiber reinforcement layers and core in a closed mold compression-type process. It is available in a regular and low viscosity (LV) version.
